Reconstitution Guide
All Yashida-Yutani peptides are lyophilised — freeze-dried powder in sealed glass vials. They must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use. Follow these steps under the guidance of your healthcare professional.
Wash hands thoroughly. Lay all materials on a clean, flat surface: peptide vial, BAC water vial, insulin syringe (1ml), and alcohol swabs.
Wipe the rubber stopper of both the peptide vial and the BAC water vial with a fresh alcohol swab. Allow 10 seconds to dry before puncturing.
Insert the syringe into the BAC water vial and withdraw the volume your healthcare professional specified. The calculator on the right will determine the correct volume for your dose.
Insert the needle into the peptide vial and slowly guide the water down the inner glass wall — never directly onto the powder. This prevents foaming and peptide degradation.
Roll the vial gently between your palms until the powder dissolves. The solution should be clear. Shaking fragments the peptide chain and degrades potency.
The solution must be clear and colourless. Discard immediately if cloudy or discoloured. Write the reconstitution date on the vial.
Swab the injection site (abdomen, outer thigh, or flank). Pinch the skin, insert the insulin needle at 45°, depress slowly. Rotate injection sites at each use.
Refrigerate at 2–8°C between uses. Reconstituted peptides remain stable for 4–6 weeks refrigerated. Discard if any turbidity appears.
